The Magical mindfulness book series

Simple tools to help children calm their mind, manage big emotions and feel more in control.

Written by Jenny Prince, the Magical Mindfulness series teaches children practical mindfulness techniques through fun, imaginative stories. Each book follows Alyssia, a sensitive little girl who loves magic, as she faces an everyday challenge and learns a simple technique to help herself feel calmer.

Inspired by Jenny's experience as a mum, the books help children build their own "magic toolkit" they can return to whenever they need it.

🫧 Alyssia's Magic Bubble

Visualisation and energy protection

Three stories, three tools

  • 🎈 Breathing: to calm nerves and anxiety

  • 🌳 Grounding: to manage anger and overwhelm and come back to the present

  • 🫧 Visualisation: to feel calmer and safer when the world feels too much

The aim isn't for children never to feel difficult emotions. It's to help them know there are things they can do to help themselves through them.

School visits & workshops

The stories can be brought to life in schools and groups, with children practising the techniques themselves through storytelling, breathing exercises, guided visualisation, grounding, nature activities and creative work.

Sessions are adapted to suit different ages, group sizes and settings.
